I wouldnt play it at 20bb, but I didnt have 20 bbs. I had 43bbs or so. but still I dont give a fuck about PF. it could have been that I post blind the first hand.

actually, I really enjoy playing short stack. It is some of the most fun I have in poker. It is like playing turbo tournaments.

If I want to pay attention and really play the player I can, if I want to just push and pray and watch TV and post and play 3 tables at once I can.


I play more of a small ball game than typical for a short stack (at least I did on UB and Party)


When I first started playing poker I learned on the $25PL tables on party playing full stack.

I can play more table easily playing short, and I like the thrill of getting all in. If I want to play "serious poker" I play S8b or O8b.

Short stacking is a fun way to get a lot of hands in to clear bonuses.

Full stack NL is one of the least interesting games for me. I would rather play PLO.

there isn't a better way that you can play this hand.. folding is out of the question and calling sucks because you may not get paid off when you hit and you are in a crappy spot when you brick the turn and get bet into.

raising less is an option but i think it would be basically the same as shoving, i haven't done the math but it must be close. a normal size raise would be to $12 or so, so by shoving you may get extra fold equity or something..there just isn't really a better line.
