I am in a stupid $10/$20 uncapped game at Turning Stone. I would have got up already but I doubled up in like my first orbit so I'd feel like a dick if I already left.

I have $4k and villain covers.

The game is 9 handed at the time of the hand I believe.

I haven't played with villain before but I've seen him around. He's youngish (24 tops, but prolly more like 21) and in the big game, so he's prolly good.

Villain limps UTG. I'm in early middle position and make it $80 with black QQ. Folds to him and he calls very quickly.

Flop is JJ6 with two diamonds and a heart. He checks. I bet $140. He makes it $450. I call. All decisions were roughly 1 minute, aside from his check.

The turn is the 2 of clubs. He bets $1050 (I think).

Thoughts on my play so far, and what to do now.

buy in for 640, leave when you double up, problem solved

I hate the call on the flop. Seems like you have to raise or fold, or be willing ot call down if no A or K or a T or a 9 or an 8 hits.

but you know I am a new and 10/20 to me means cents not dollars. You have 80% of my BR at it's peak infront of you. Ignore my post.

with no history, i would lay it down.

1. you're deep.

2. he doesn't know you at all so he doesn't know how crazy you get.

3. flop call is good. raising would obviously be silly. folding would be tolerable but pretty weak.

I was at the table and in your spot i would of called him down.

'Cos you're gonna puke if river is a diamond, A or K and you stack size is perfect for a push. I think you're ahead most of the time but he could have a shitload of outs (like 15). He open limped so he could well have Axs, KQs or a small/medium pair. With the overcard+draw thingy you want the money in now, if he has a small/medium PP you probably won't get any more money out of him anyway. His turn bet seems way too big to be a J or 66, I tink a draw or underpair is most likely.

I won't fold this in a live game without a read on him as nitty or a tell revealing that he's strong. The fact that he's a young kid (and you look even younger) makes it more likely he's making a move imo.

that said, I think I'd just fold flop if I didn't wan to play for stacks.
