Even if the pot is overbet on the first bet and your raise is bigger the push it is still gonna be huge lets make it like 35x for the sake of argument.

My arguement with my bro is that theoretically this is an impossible outcome with two pros, as no pro would overbet allin push a mill with the nuts. They would want to extract value. I can't think of a single hand you would push in there including the nuts.

Xas - if you are practicing bankroll mng wouldn't you be properly rolled to absorb a cooler such as this. I don't think I could ever fold middle set on a dry board even for an overbet push of 46x the pot.

edit: made pot more DRY J62 it is, that was the intention in the first place.

The point is that on a J62 rainbow board, nobody in their right mind would shove for 46x pot with anything BUT the nuts. It would be a bad play with the nuts, but worse with anything else.

You're just laying your opponents WAY too good of odds that they have the nuts.

I was watching this poker show that is a super huge cash game, the stack sizes ranged from 250k to 2 million or something absurd. The line up was a pretty steep one with some people that were unknown to me.

So this Dr. raises it up with 66, Ted Forest calls with 22 about 300k and the Dr. covers. Flop was J62, and they get it all in right there, Ted never even thought twice about folding bottom set in a raised pot, the money went in blistering fast. Granted he might have also thought the Dr. would be unlikely to lay down an overpair there too, which may or may not be shortsighted on his part, I haven't seen the Dr. play enough to have an opinion.

Your stack sizes are a little bigger, but I think folding middle set even on J62 board might be giving up too much in a raised pot, even for a million, and you do have one out to quads if you need it.
