As far as I know, they didn't allow this before. I actually mentioned this to Party poker about a year or so again when I was having problems and they say they do not allow their software to be used with such programs. They haven't done anything since. I don't know how they can stop poker tracker as long as they have hand histories and GT+ works with PT and just overlays on Party so Party shouldn't know you are running it.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about this much. There's nothing that PT does that actually interferes with PP - it merely reads and parses data that PP generates (it's not like PT is sniffing the network traffic or something). Additionally, there's absolutely zero way for the PP guys to know whether or not you are running PT / GT+. So this is a completely non-enforcable policy, at least as long as you don't go blabbing on and on about how you use PT in the chat..

I think it's a scare tactic.

Party's software can detect what programs you're running, and they also have the ability to take screenshots, so if they wanted to know who was running PT they could do it quite easily.

Enough people use PT that I'd expect they'd probably give warning if they were going to ban it.

Thats what another forum said, that Party had been approached about that and they said before it was okay to use , and the other forum felt that we would get plenty of warning, if they decided to crack down. It's just the old time players that have been using ways to profile players and make a ton of money, are afraid someone will get a chance to make a little bit.
