shove. looks a lot like 78 but with the stack sizes, you can't check/fold or bet/fold. he could have 56 or 22/55 and both of those will be hard pressed to get away.

check/call is an option if you think he'll bluff often enough but i don't think he does given he only has 800 left into 2.1k, and checking gives him the option to check behind with hands that he would call a shove with.
