Hand 1:
Preflop
I have 406$ in the hand and villain has me covered. He is running at 37/18/2.1 after 120 hands. Besides this stats I haven't seen him do much, especially since we didn't play any significant pots. Table is 5 handed, its folded to me in OTB, so I raise
to 16$. villain in SB is the only caller.
Flop
Pot: 36$
He checks I decide to CB to standard 27. He insta MR. At this point I'm not sure what this means so i decide to call due to fact that there are number of draws out there as well as
weaker 8x.
Turn
Pot: 144$
He quickly checks and I decide to bet 84$ in a attempt to protect my hands from possible draws and milk a weaker 8. Most of the times, MR on flop and then check on turn is either a weak hand, a smaller PP or a draw, so that is the reason why I made a bet there. To my surprise he insta-pushes here. Hero? I mean he could play set like this but Its extremly risky considering how wide my range is. At the same time turn is a complete blank. Slowplayed AA KK maybe? what do you put him on?
Hand 2:
This hand is kinda similar to those JJ hands, I 3bet a decent PP preflop but get into a scary spot. I have 420$ in this hand and villain has me covered. This is his first orbit so i have no reads. He raises to 16$ in OTB, SB calls and I 3bet to 64$. OTB calls and SB folds.
Flop
Pot: 144$.
I decide to lead here 100$, however he insta MR me to 200$. Hero? I have 255 behind.
Im not sure what he could have here. AQ AK seems possible as well as TT+ or basically a bluff
