Finished my monthly goal yesterday money wise but need to put in 4 more hours so I'm taking it easy and playing the $40's instead of my normal games. I'm playing 3 Hold'em 5-max tables and one full ring PLO8. My image on the Hold'em tables is probably TAG, at least I am by far the one who does the most betting/raising as well as the most folding. I have shown some reasonable hands down though, but haven't been lucky enough to hit anything big against a second best hand yet. I'm up to 150bb mainly by stealing pots in position. Opponents are generally bad and loose/passive.
I will type the bets in BB's to avoid the hassle of currency.
There is an UTG raise to 3bb, I cold call on the button and BB comes along too.
Flop is [2s][9s]
BB checks and preflop raiser bets 3bb, I raise to 13bb and the BB flat calls. UTG raiser gets out.
Turn is the
BB checks.
I started with 150bb and he has me covered. Right now effective stacks left are ~134bb. I am debating to myself whether I am going to...
1. Bet 3/4 of the pot now and 1/2-2/3 pot on any non-spade river
or
2. Check behind now and bet 1/2-2/3 pot on any non-spade river
I did pick up some extremely unlikely outs on the turn who might or might not be good. How much does that influence the decision and in which way?
