1/3 game at TI.
The game is soft. Im raising limpers liberally and they keep folding. Ive been raising to $20-$25 after 3-4 limpers. This time its folded ot me in the cutoff and I raise to $15 with [Kc]. Button calls. SB now reraises to $65. I have $500 and he covers.
I call and button folds.
Pot $150. Flop [As][5h]. He looks scared and checks. I check behind.
Pot $150. Turn . He bets $100. Whats the plan here? Try to call him down assuming the 4th heart doesnt fall?
The guy is decent although he got his big stack in a donkey hand. It was a splash pot. They throw an envelope in the pot with anywhere from $25-$1000 in it. I think its usually a smallish amount because when I told MVP about the hand he said "let me guess, the splash pot was $25?"
Some dufus straddled. Like 5 calls and then the SB jacks it to $40. 5 callers to the flop. Flop was A55. Raiser checked. It checked to my villain who bet $100. Folded to SB who CR to $250. My villain called (he has A7). They got all in on the turn. Moron in SB had Q9 and villain won. So my villian was a massive donk in this hand, but has played normally (meaning semi weak / scared) since I sat down.
Whats my plan?
Bonus hand
Same villain.
I limp [Th]. I know, you hate it, but its a $3 limp and the table is passive. Several limpers.
Pot $20ish. Flop [9c][8s]. I check / call $20 heads up.
Pot $60. Turn . I lead $50. Thoughts?
