1/2 NL at foxwoods. First time ever playing NL live. Table is a mix of donktastic morons and relatively solid players.
I have $300 and vilian covers. Villian hasn't been at the table long but he seems to lknow what he's doing. He may be the best player at the table. I heard him talking with someone else walking by and evidently he usually plays the 2/5NL game at foxwoods and is a regular.
I recently changed seats to get position on a few idiots that were to my right and were raising every hand. There were 2-3 of them that were playing probably 80/60 stats lol
Overall the tasble is very loose preflop, it's common for someone to raise either 3.5bb's and get 5-6 callers or 6bb's and get 5-6 callers lol I haven't been playing many hands at all and am one of the 2-3 tightest at the table but don't think villian knows this as he is pretty new.
I have JhJs on the BTN. There are a couple limpers, idiot #1 in mp limped, call, Idiot #2 in CO makes it $12 and I make it $25 to go. Now villian cold calls in the blind and everyone else folds. I was not expecting this. Idiots who I wanted to play aginst folded.
Pot ~ $65 Flop comes either 3d 5h 9h or 3d 6h 9h (sorry I forget)
I bet $40 (which would be a large flop bet for the game and villian would assume I have an overpair or AK here most likely) Now he instanly calls out $140. I quicly folded figuring he had me pre or spiked a set. Standard?
