[quote="dropthe72"]really, a set? to be honest, i'm not too sure i'm ahead or behind this hand. it's a drawy board and you have an overpair in a six max 100nl game. this tells me that your opponent, with no reads, has a range pretty large which mostly consists of tp type hands. if he's loose, he could have flopped two pair or a straight and flush draw kinda hand and hit the straight on the turn, sets are plausible, however. though, personally i think that's a much smaller part of a random 100 nl opponent's hand range given the action thus far. folding may be losing on some value here.
i do like the idea of pot-ing the flop, however.[/quote/]
Ahh well if he's loose I'm shoving the turn. But we have no reads on villian he could be a soild rock or TAG, meaning he is unlikely to check TPTK if he has something like AQ.
I'm not suggesting folding, I'm suggesting caution as we have no reads.
To me, the cold call PF, the check call flop and the CR turn suggests better than TPTK. Two pair is unlikely as I can't see a PF call with Q9 which is the only plausible two pair he could have so for me, its a set.
