same villain as in T9s hand... only this time it's a bit more multiway..

This time, I have [5s] and limp UTG.. HJ miniraises to $1, SB calls, Villain calls and I call..

flop [9s][Js] ($3.80) .. chck.. chck.. I chck.. HJ bets $1 ... SB calls, Villain calls and I make it $9.. all fold but villain who obv calls...

turn ($22.80) .. villain chcks and I chck..

river ($22.80) .. villain pinches for $38.33 ... I call, right?

i made it $9 on flop because that's about pot sized raise and because I am a favorite in this hand with my crappy ace.. why? .. cause I have a TP and a nut flush draw.. no one out there is even near this and on such a draw heavy board I would expect a set, 2 pair or stronger ace to protect their hand .. i did this cause I am in front and if all fold, I am fine with that, and if someone calls i have put my money in when I believe i am clearly in front..

i actually insta-called his shove.. he had [8s] and I based my call on his plays in previous hands that i developed a read on him AND the way he played this hand...

also, I noticed that people at NL50 are betting pot or overbetting river almost only when they have missed draws.. probably cause they think it will be too expensive for another hand to call them.. when they have made hand they usually go with 1/2 pot or a bit closer to 3/4 pot..

I fold this preflop UTG. Is this standard for tight players?
