I would've called and seen the flop. Judging on the flop, you can then decide your next move depending on what kind of bet he makes. If he checks then I would bet half the pot, just to get a feel for where he is at.
But, if you call PF and an ace shows on the flop, if he bets big, then muck the kings. If he checks, then check right behind him.
I say this because alot of people will not bet out into a pot when they have hit an ace, as they will want there opponent to bet, and then they will most likely check-raise.
Having position on him is a huge advantage, if he checks flop and then the turn then put a bet out there to see what he does.
Worst case is that he has pocket aces, or has hit an ace on the flop.
Coming over the top and pushing pre flop is probably the worst thing to do, if you push and he calls, and shows an ace then you will need to dodge an ace.
But if you call, see the flop, and see no ace, then you can most likely say you have him covered.
But if you call and do see an ace on the flop, and he bets then muck.
