A good afternoon session, cracked the same fishy twice, once flopped a set of jacks, he flopped bottom 2, after he called a $5 raise preflop with 109o, than made two pair with AK with board pairing 5's won a nice pot after my opponant couldnt get away from A9, its a monster I wouldnt fold either . Than i cracked the same fish who limped with AA, I limped from the button with KJ suited, flopped 2 pair and busted him again.

Its funny how humbling, ths game can be. I was sitting here thinking about how well, I have been playing, I have been avoiding big pots without a big hand, folding a lot of borderline hands vs bad players, something that I wasnt good enough to do a year ago. So this hand comes up

What the hell, I make the right call to check the turn, the villian is a good solid player,and I have a decent idea when he bets that I'm drawing dead, so why do I call. Hmmm because I needed to be humbled, this only cost me $8 but I was lucky that he make his str8 with a diamond, because it would have cost me more. Not a big deal just a small imperfection, always room to grow in this game.

Well I have a bunch of free time today so my goal is going to be to play 1000 pp hands, and try to get the 2nd part bonus close to cleared, maybe make a dent in all the hands I have to play to clear all my bonus's

Ouch, well it has been a really nice ru nso I guess one of these sessions was coming. Posted tow hands in the anything goes section, making top boat vs a str8 flush and flopping a str8 vs nut flush is going to cost most people a lot of mone. I also managed to play 386 hands a win a whopping 8 hands only 1 over $20. I guess i cant have a big winning sessions every time I'm still up 18 bb/10.

Oh boy its been a bad night, Aces full beaten by rivered quads and set over set at the same time. Bye bye to two more buy-ins, I guess the good news is in this killer two sessions, I am very happy with the way I played my hands. Just keep getting screwed, not much to do about it.

Quick session tonight, games were really tight for some reason. Not really sure why, won one buy in flopped a set of 2's to crack someone's AA. Man I love cracking Aces

Rhound, I finally had a couple nice long sessions at Party and I'm not closer to supporting your position on the site. I played over 1100 hands and I had the biggest rollercoaster ride for poker i've ever had. I don't play a high variance game so this is very disconcerting to me. I will be detailing this tomorrow (at work ). I got AA cracked, KK cracked but also cracked AA with KK, all for huge pots so now I understand your troubles better.

I think the key to part poker is not to get frusterated, sometimes it can be hard to seperate the idiots from their money. Tonight was a complete crazy roller coaster, I ended up $35 sounds like a ho hum session right? Well not really, I ran into AA with KK on back to back hands that was a lot of fun, lost two buyins. Flopped the nut str8 with a royal redraw vs a min raise with AK won a stack. Tried to semibluff with a gut shot on the turn, the pot was like $2 and I had two over cards with QJ, got one caller, caught the 10 on the river so I now have the nuts, my opponant pushs all in for $45, ummm ok I call. He was slowplaying a set. Well played, thanks come again.

I'm actually playing at poker now a party skin since I have $300 in bonus's to clear by june 5th. Played 400 hands tonight, puts me somewhere in the neighorhood of 700 for the day.

A weird side note, since I'm playing at pokernoe I have a different account and I didnt do the alias thing on PT, so after the back to back KK vs AA, my account name was red in GT+, I really dont like that. I Thankfully the 2nd moron decided to overbet the pot when I had the nuts, now I'm back in the green where I belong.

As I explained in my journal I was getting burned out playing holdem, so I started playing o8, it is a great way to clear bonus's, I can make money because the play is horrible, and I played live $3/$6 the other night and did pretty well. I made a nice run with the limt 08, a couple of big days than a bad one. Last night and today I'm back to holdem, not such a great day, but some hands to post.

Honestly Rhound... I'm just not smart enough for Omaha, and when I'm runnin bad, I find the worst 1/2 limit games I can find (and BOY do I hate limit), and 4-table my way into lots of bonus whoring... Seems to be workin for me so far...

MVP omaha 8 is a much more complicated game then Hold'me which is one of the reasons I really like it, there are so many bad players that play this game that it can get so jiucy. The live $3/$6 game is so freakin juicy I couldnt believe it when I first sat down.

A frusterating day on PP, couldnt hit a flop to save my life. I managed 27 pocket pairs without flopping a set. Saw Ak 6 times and only flopped 1 pair. I did finally win nice pot with AA vs KK, this is the only reason I under up in the green today.
