There are so many "places" in poker where you can run good in order to have a short term boost in your winrate.
Roy could be getting TT-AA more than normal.
Roy's TT-AA could be holding up more than normal.
Roy's TT-AA could be running into 99-KK more than normal.
Roy could be flopping more sets.
More of Roys flopped sets could be running into overpairs and top pairs.
Roy could be flopping more flushes.
Roy could be flopping pairs more frequently in re-raised pots with AK and AQ.
It's silly to speculate.
He is probably making the best poker decisions of his career these days, and is simultaneously running good in some way (I listed about 7, but there are about a bajillion more) shape or form.
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
