Here Goes Nothing!
I've been on the run from hell this month. Ever since the WSOP started I haven't had my hands hold in big pots. I'm down over $3k this month. This is no small problem.
Xas may be on a bad losing streak, but he has a bankroll. My bankroll is almost completely demolished. It's not all the bad run's fault. Obviously last year I didn't take care of my money like I should have. Taxes didn't help. Now my bills are very high and I'm not sure I can reduce them significantly. I'm already curtailing my spending money, but until this lease runs out thats about all that can be done.
I figure I have 3 months. Either I go broke or I run it up. I plan to go out fighting either way. I don't want to regret going out slowly from laziness and fear of losing more money. I'm going to put in the hours.
I'm going to start playing online as well. At the moment, it looks like Bodog and Stars will be the primary places. I want to play 6 max, as find it more challenging and fun, but for variance's sake I'm going to play full ring for a while. The higher winrates online cannot be ignored. I may split the hours in half between live and online play, or there may be a bigger discrepancy. 75/25 online to live. I'm not sure yet.

I hate the Navarro book "Read 'em and Reap." That book has cost me over 10k in pots. I read the book 3 or 4 times thinking it was the nuts, only to find he is wrong consistently. I've always taken pride in being able to read my opponents well. After immersing myself in that book; I'm totally lost. I cant get a good read for the life of me. The book is terrible, unless you enjoy losing pot after pot because of "tells." Personally I'd rather burn that book than the rest of my money. I plan on lighting it on fire in the next few days.
Let this be a warning to you: STAY AWAY FROM THAT GOD FORSAKEN BOOK.

I've been hanging out with a hot asian chick lately. It's nice to get laid constantly and be complimented all the time. Unfortunately, since I've met her I haven't been playing poker as well and I haven't been playing enough hours. One way or another I have to get my focus back to my job. We're taking a break for the next few days.
