Just wondering, when I actually do hit the straight on the river, should I bet less than $1.50 to ensure callers? Say $1? If I knew they had a powerfulish hand, I could bet 25c and hope for a re-raise, but I doubt on a board like this anyone would re-raise. Just wondering about the bet size at river.

And just this second hand, wondering exactly whether I should have called or what exactly is going on here. He played it as if he hit a backdoor flush or trip 4's? I don't think he had a set on the flop based on the play, so A4 or even something like AJ suited spades? But I'm pretty sure I made the right call folding.
