2/5nl $500max
I have
OTB
$450 effective stacks
Straddled pot
Pre-Flop:
One MP limper for $10, I raise to $30, Straddle and MP call.
I made the small raise to isolate the weak MP player and prevent the straddler from raising his straddle light. Being in position in raised pot and a decent hand against these two players is a situation that is +EV for me. They are the 2 weakest players at the table.
MP is the table donkey. Older gentleman who raises PF alot. He will raise any ace from any position. He also way overvalues hands like TP and will stack off with them.
Straddler is also a bad player (that thinks he is good). He plays too many hands and makes bad calls. He claims hes done real well in WPT events and stuff. He actually plays like a tournament player who doesnt know how to transition to cash games well. He trys to win too many pots. He also a complete asshole and berates other players and the dealers when he loses. He has anger issues. Kinda reminds me of Danny Bonaduce from his reality show.
Flop:
($97)
Checked to me, I bet $60, A-hole minraises to $120, MP folds, Hero?
A-hole's range is huge right here: TP, second pair, PPs (55-TT), FD, str8 draw, Set, 2-pair.
Whats my play here? after the minraise he has $300 behind.
