I've worked my way up from $5 to $10 to $25 to $50NL I have seen a general reduction in the amount of bad play with the last 2 moves. The difference between $10 and $25 was huge...like the money finally mattered.

I would quit poker rather than go back down to $10NL so I think you are at the right place ($50NL would be too risky with $150 even if you only play 1 table).

Btw, I saw someone limp AA in the SB to see the flop 4 way yesterday so don't be surprised by anything online!
