BetFred Poker 0.25/0.50, hand converted by the at

saw flop | saw showdown

Button SuperHero ($64.57)
SB ($51.30)
BB ($49.10)
UTG ($26.25)
UTG+1 ($47.75)
CO ($64.15)

Preflop: SuperHero is on the Button with 8Image 8Image
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to 2.00, 1 fold, SuperHero calls 2.00, 2 folds.

Flop (4.75) 8Image 8Image TImage
UTG+1 bets 3.50, SuperHero calls 3.50.

Turn (11.75) QImage
UTG+1 bets 9.00, SuperHero calls 9.00.

River (29.75) 3Image
UTG+1 checks, SuperHero bets how much?

villain is 20/8/ with AF of 5 and WtSD of 11% after 50 hands..

what I am interested in is... how much should I bet on river, and do I raise anywhere based on my read of this weak tightie aggressor ?

also, ideas on all streets much appreciated since I probably could have raised the flop and he wouldn't believe me but then I was at risk of him folding a hand he was willing to get to showdown or at least 2nd barrel with... etc. etc. ..

BetFred 50 tables are full of donkeys. This turn is what the minimum raise was made for. He won't be able to fold if he has any overpair. Then the pot on the turn is $48 and he has only $24 left and you have an easy shove.

Stats on 50 hands aren't worth much so ignore them.

Min-raise the turn and hope AJ/KJ says "implied odds lolz!!!!1111" and calls.

River shove is really bad here IMO unless you know he's horrible. Looks like an 8, J9, or a runnered flush rather than a bluff here. I don't think any bet you make on the river is gonna get called, but I would just bet $21and hope QK or AT calls.
The better player should win the race. Always.

Turn min-raise is always a monster.

You have a monster.

Min-raise the turn, and he'll have less than the pot left in his stack, so shoving is easy.

If there was no flush draw on the flop, I would raise the flop. When you raise the flop and the flop is paired, people assume youre full of it and alot of times come back over the top. Just make sure you raise only enough that he thinks he still can get you to fold.

Since the flop has a flush draw I prefer to just call because when you do that, people assume youre drawing to the flush and its much more likely that they will bet the turn again even if they have nothing.

When you get in a situation like this, you should be prepared for him to check the river because it happens alot and as soon as he checks, you have to instabet. So as soon as you call the turn, get ready to insta bet the river before he even checks. Because of stack sizes, I would instashove the river.

Agree with the turn min-raise people because now that are a lot of cards that might kill your river action and the flush card may have been one of those. You played it like a flush draw so now he may think that's what you have.

after reading what ya all wrote, I think I should have either gone for the turn monster mini check raise or just bet 1/2 pot or less on the river...

the thing is, I shoved the river and the guy folded .. maybe because the flush came there but guess he really didnt have anything to begin with and was just 2 barreling me with AK or somfin' .. I am also inclined to think that he might have folded to my possible turn MR, but still, for the next time, that's the way to go in this situation... that, or 1/2 pot on the river..
