I can see making that move with your hand, but I can't see calling that move with your hand. I don't have the stones.

I mean I can't see a made flush moving in like that without you betting first, However, I have seen much stranger things. You are gonna make your flush here 2-1 and I don't think your TP is good. If somebody already called this ahead of you I would deffinatley say call as the odds to make it +EV are there.

I would guess he's got 78 and knows his hand is quite vulnerable. A set is possible, as is a baby flush. Honestly though I wouldn't be surprised to see a hand like [Th] here too, so that's why I would call. Plus, you are never totally crushed. Worst case you are a 2-1 dog.

well if i imagine i'm villain, and i have to admit: i have done similar stupid things like he did with TPHK, but actually ways more often with a stronger hand, afraid of the next cards. And I found out people are only calling with a flush in this spot
well i would lay it down thinking i had only invested 2 dollars and feeling more on the behind side. But having said that, i know the posters above are better players than I am so i think i should change my mind.

You said that he is a calling station, but has he been aggressive at all yet? How many hands? This really looks like a set or 2 pair. Maybe K[Qh]? Worst case scenario I think you are a 3-1 dog if he has a set, best case you have him crushed, but you have to win this hand close to 50% of the time to make this call profitable. Damn this is tough and I'd probably like to know a little more about villain like exact stats over how many hands and what type hands he's shown down, if any, especially when he's been aggressive, before making a decision like this.

70 hands is not much to get a clear cut view of the villain, BUT, it is enough to realize his tendencies and his style.. heck, 20 hands is enough for that even if someone is on a heater or on a downhill in those 20 hands...

k3nt .. as for your question about betfred... I hate it.. I hate their software that is shiny and hard (heavy?) on the eyes; it's also slow and I am apparently doomswitched and win aprox. 4 in 20 showdowns there.. as soon as I clear their god forsaken $500 bonus I am out of there even though I think I might snap earlier because I am supposed to make $500 besides the bonus and in the end I might end up making $200 out of those $500 which is actually too much trouble for what they're offering me.. AND, on top of it all, I just got an email from their support cause some lame as muppet reported me for having 3 sentences written in croatian with some chick that lives in norway but is from bosnia.. go figure...

He wasn't very aggressive at all which means this could very easily be a monster. If I had a read on someone that they couldn't fold or even better a hand exactly like the one you had with K or A then this is the perfect way to play this. Also, if I thought that you had a read on me that I was a wacko or playing horribly, this is the perfect way to play a set, although you say villain isn't that smart.

I'm sooo guilty of this myself, but a lot of times we look at someone playing everyhand and just label them as bad so we don't ever respect their bets even though most of their bad play comes through bad calls. Then when they get all aggressive we reason that they are a bad player so they probably don't have anything. Unfortunately, even bad players catch big hands on occasion and when a passive player comes out firing like this it's sometimes because they know they are going to get paid or maybe more often because they are an idiot, but in a good spot.

I'm just starting to get a handle on this myself and learn to differentiate, but beware of calling stations who suddenly want to play for their entire stack as the aggressor.

I think in a situation like this you should fold. It's such a small pot and you're either way ahead, or way behind.

If he didn't raise all in you could play it normally, but you're marginally better than two-pair, behind a set, behind a made flush. You beat bluffs, pair of king's with a heart kicker, straight draw with a heart in it usually. AK shouldn't be here, he should 3-bet that. I suppose with little time to think I would probably call as well, but afterwards, it's a close toss-up, I'm way behind/way ahead, the pot is so small and I'd rather be a much bigger favourite when all my chips are at stake. Fold without a better read. :O
