1/3 game I am double stacked $650 and villian covers. Villian is a moron and is stuck at least 2 buyins even thought he is now double stacked.

I limp OTB with AT. Flop is T66, checks to me I bet $12, only MP calls. Turn is an 8, he checks again I bet $15, he again calls. River is a T, he checks again. I bet $20, he raises to $60. Villian?

This is a pretty common spot where I almost always just call since we are still deep, and most opponents wont call even a min raise with a 6 and there is still a chance I could be up against 66 or T8 which are both semi-possible here and I really don't wan to to min raise and face an all in where I'm calling hoping to chop. Its probably pretty obvious by me posting this that I don't like the result. Villain is awful and check raised the river wits 69. Against a moron like this is the re-raise a correct play? Is it agreed that the river is just a call against a good player?

Villain would have to be a complete moron to call a reraise with a 6. Plus, getting shoved on here would be sick.

I think just calling here is good against both morons and good players. Unless you know villain thinks a 6 is the nuts on this board and has drool dripping down his chin.

Based on stack sizes, I just call. If you had only 100BBs, I would shove. Ive seen people think a 6 was good there (or even 97)

In fact, after a hand where I check / called the flop and turn and then CRAI on the river and got called by Q high, I dont let anyone off the hook in hands like yours if Im 100 BBs deep even if I have to hear "good job, you just pumped up the rake for nothing" 1000 times.
