I have some amazing new to report........ I won 2 sessions in a row and the apocalypse didn't occur.
Since I was on my one day ban, I'm gonna post both days at once.
Friday home game. Same cast of characters 1/2 game.
I am the 4th caller into a $10 raised pots with
flop is KQJ. The 2nd caller has KK and tried to slow play. Board doesn't pair up $150.
Cold deck of the night against. I straddle with
. Flop is
3
. Abbot leads $5, I raise to $30, Mitch overcalls. Turn is a T, Mitch leads $50, crap. I call, I'm praying he has K3 but I really should have folded. River Qd, he bets $50 again, I call he has 36 from the SB. I should have folded to his turn bet.
The setup hand with mike . I am in the straddle again with 88. 4 limpers to me, I make it $24 and they all call. Flop is 842r. I check, the first limper is the short stack and a really awful player, the goal being that he push for his last $50, a couple players in the middle call and I can trap someone in the middle, doesn't happen as it checks through. Turn is a J, Mike bets $40. I smooth call again hoping for some action behind, everyone else folds. River is a 3, mike bets $50, I push for his last $120. He thinks about it forever, he considers folding, then considers calling. He eventually folds, he asks me a bunch of times what I had and I keep telling him AK. That his bets was small enough that I thought he was weak and that he would fold. He spends a good chunk of the night talking about how much he hates being bluffed by me.
I am the BB with
. Raised to $10 from the guy earlier with KK. 3 callers to me. Flop is 44[Th]. I check, he pushs all in for $120. I call he has KK again.
Finally the sick hand of the night. Mike and I again he has $600ish and I cover. We are down to 5 handed. Teddy raises my $5 staddle to $15. I look down at
, mike calls in the SB, I call too. Flop is
. Mike checks, I bet $20, teddy raises to $60. Mike smooth calls. I reraise $200 on top. Teddy thinks and folds, Mike spends a bunch of time and reraises $200 more. I push for his last $150ish he calls with
. He fails to hit his one out and I scoop a $$12000-$1300pot.
I stack david with 88 against his $70 all in with 66.
Total for the night 8 hrs + $1299
Saturday Viejas has their poker aces tournament, which almost always means good side game action afterwards. I went up there with Devbert which was a mistake because he is a weeping vagina and never wants to play for more than 5 hrs.
A really up and down session. I ran really cold the first couple hours and was down $100 before I really knew what happened.
Then UTG $150 makes it $20, one callers. Player #2 pushs for $80. I look down at QQ in the SB. I push, UTG inst calls. Utgggggg. I am not happy until UTg turn over his hand and its KTo???? MP has AK. Flop is KQX turn is a small card and they are both drawing dead.
Then the huh?? Hand of the night. I am the 2nd limper with AQs, button who is steaming something awful limps too. The reason I limped is button had pushed in a couple times before with shit because he was on steam and I was planning on limp calling his AI. BB who is also a moron makes it $15. I call, button pushs. PFR folds, I call and button has KK. I dont suck out.
A funny hand. I move to a new table and one of the guys I work with is sitting to my right, he is a really cool guy and thinks I'm a total maniac. So I raise 3 of my first 6 hands, and take down the limpers twice and win on a CB the 3rd. So I get
OTB. I raise to $13 get 2 callers. Flop is A9
. Checks to me I decide neither of them is going to fold an ace to me so its either WA/WB kinda spot. I check, turn is a K, checks to me again. I bte $20, get 2 callers. River is a J, which is kind of a bad card for me but they both check again. I bte $35, the old lady calls. I turn over my hand. She quickly turns over her hand which is KQ. I tell he I have 2 pair. She shoots me the look of death and starts mumbling. I tell her "Yes I know I play bad, I will give it back." She glares at me and says "Yes I see how you play, you play like an idiot. Only a complete idiot would raise K9 off suit." I tell her,"I agree but it was soooooted, i had to raise, plus I knew it was coming." She spends the rest of round glaring at me. Very funny.
My last hand of the night with grandma's husband. I am the in the straddle with
. I check and give my usual bs about 229 please. Flop us 3
. I lead $17 everyone folds to old man who starts stacking up a raise and then decides to just call. Turn is an A, he nearly falls out of his seat, then pushs for $200 more. I laugh and he starts staring me down. I show him my hand and fold. He shows me the
..... No shit.
This table was really good, I had 2 people who hated me, and the rest were bad weak tight. To bad Devin is a pansy and running cold and breaking even was just to much for him to take, so he made me leave my juicy game and my dreams of a 2k weekend go down in flames. Its nice to run good again, it feels like forever.
I got a text from MVP who flopped a set and got to stack someone and since for some gawdawful reason I cant run good unless he is, so maybe things are turning around a little for me a little heater would be really nice.
