78/50 is pretty psycho even if it is only 14 hands. i would like a read on his aggressiveness as opposed to just looseness...but still i'm very tempted to call even if it's just 1.5 to 1. QJT is very action-happy and he could have anything (KQ, J9, AT, JJ, 99, A2...). oh and he raised pf from the button too. oh i'm calling this immediately.

Oh yeah...my reasoning. I don't usually call raises oop with QJ. I will however make calls with less than stellar hands vs. aggrodonks, with my plan being that I'm going to take the hand all the way if I hit, say, TPGK. So I think if I called his raise pf, I'm willing to match the rest of his stack when I hit.

This may not be the best way to handle a maniac. Just my opinion.

QJs is a nice hand to 3bet him with if he's getting too frisky preflop.

I think you're good to call this against his range - WA of other 2 pairs and AQ, favourite against KQ, T9, 99 and lots of draws, flipping against combo draws and only WB to AK and sets.

CT, I was as you say OOP to the original raiser but given his past donkishness, given the pot odds I was offered, given the fact I have big suited connectors, and given the fact I am capping the betting pre flop, is this not an insta call pre-flop?

I'm looking for a draw on the flop here, any TP type hands I'm obv concerned I'm out kicked.
