I was playing Omaha Hi Lo on Party last night, $25 PL table. Not really getting good cards, but the table was kinda loose so I hung around to see if I could catch something good. I am in the BB with AJT6, with the JT of clubs and A6 of diamonds. One guy limps, everyone else folds to me and I check.

Flop comes AK3 with 2 clubs. So I have top pair and 2nd nut flush draw. There is like .60 in the pot, so I bet .50. Other guy calls. 4 of clubs hits the turn, so I make the flush, plus have a shot at a backdoor low besides. I like it, so I bet the pot ($1.60). He just calls again. That part I'm kinda not liking, but I figure he could have a lower flush and a low maybe.

River is a 5, also of clubs. So now I have 6543A for low, plus my 2nd nut flush. I bet the full $5 pot and he freakin pops it back at me for another $10. Ok, I figure he made his wheel and I'm just splitting so I call. The only way I lose on here is if he has the Q of clubs suited, plus a 2, plus another wheel card.

Freakin guy shows Q239, with the Q suited in clubs. I had the 2nd nut low and 2nd nut high, was heads up, and got scooped. F$%#in party poker!!

Those are always ugly.

My worst was when I got quartered playing the A high flush and the nut low. I was playing As 2 Xs X and ran into A 2 5s 6s X on a 3s 4s 7s board. That stung a little.
