In this hand BB is a total manic (VP$IP of over 60 and PRF over 15) and SB is a total fish (VP$IP of over 60 and WtSD of 50). Just a few hands before this I saw the BB re-raise with KKXX on a AT9 board and the SB cold call with JJXX.

I don’t have the hand histories so bear with me.

Party Poker 2/4 Omaha/8 (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with , , , .
1 call, Hero calls, 1 call, SB calls, BB raises, called to me, Hero 3 bets, called to BB, who caps, called all the way around.

Flop: (20 SB) , (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, folded to me I raise, folded back to SB who calls, BB calls.

Turn: (13 BB) : (3 players)
Checked to me, I check.

River: (13 BB) : (3 players)
SB bets, BB raises, Hero ????

Preflop:
I am sure that I have more then 1/5 of the equity and I excepted everyone to call so I 3 bet. Also since it was the manic raising I didn’t think he hand another A2.

Flop:
I want to push out bottom 2, other A2’s, and anything else that can hurt me. The pot has gotten large enough that I really want to protect it, maybe I was a little over aggressive here.

Turn:
If someone just boated this would be a perfect place for a CR so I checked hoping to make a crying call on the river.

River:
Crap. Now what? This is an easy call for 1 BB but I am not so sure for 2 plus I am not closing the betting.

I am interested in comments on any (and all) streets.

Yeah, that's tough but I don't think you could have played it in a way that lost less money.

As for the turn, I take your points and you're good arguments. Against most players I think it makes a lot of sense, but my feeling was that these guys are so loose the are unlikely to drop lower flushes and I prefer to take the lead in the hand and work from there. I think if no-one makes a move you have to bet either the turn or the river, so I'd marginally rather do it earlier and allow myself more decisions on the later streets. I think your arguments are very valid though and I'm certainly not going to say you're wrong! Just different ways of playing it I think, and I reckon both have their advantages. My way you make more if you win, but lose less if you lose!
