Okay so I have [Jh] [Jc] and my stack is around 100 bucks . The villian has been playing quite loose and got lucky a bit and has me covered. He seems to push his draws pretty hard. I make a standard raise and get two callers including the villian who i have position on. He bet out 5 bucks on a flop of [Th] [4h] [8c]. My thinking was that he had a draw of some type so I decided to raise to 15 total. (looking back this might be too small) He reraised the min to me, making it 10 to call. I decided to call and then see what the turn brought. It was the [Ts] Villian checks to me and I move in for about a pot sized bet of 60 or so.

Two questions
1. Should I reraise the flop? If I do and he pushes over on me is it a call or a fold?

2. As played should I control the pot on the turn with a check behind?

I like the raise of his weak lead. When he comes back over top of you that where you have to decide if you are gonna play for stacks. That min RR really does not look like a draw. I think a draw may be more apt to push. By just calling the flop min raise you put yourself in this dilemma. He could also have a hand like AT,KT,QT,JT and now that [Ts] messes things up.

I would prolly fold on that flop as I don't feel comfortable playing a overpair for 2 stacks after being 4-bet on the flop. That 4-bet being a mis raise at that.

I presume villian limped this hand? Which is why you have position on him?

I shove the flop.

Okay zmej let me see if i can do this better. UTG+1 is unknown, hasn't played many hands at the table. The BB is the villian who has been playing his draws aggressively and playing too many hands. He has built his stack up with lucky catches.

SB $50
BB $130
UTG $50
UTG+1 $50
CO $50
Hero $100 [Jh] [Jc]

Preflop
All folded to UTG+1 who calls .50, Hero raises to 2.50, BB calls, UTG+1 calls 2.

Pot = 7.25
Flop
[Th] [4h] [8c]
BB bets 5.00, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises to15.00, BB raises to 25.00. Hero does what? I decided to call.

Pot = 67.00
Turn
[Ts]
BB checks, Hero does what? I decided to bet 65.00

Much better, now we see that BB leads about 3/4 pot into 2 players OOP. Meaning that he either has a made hand or a good draw. We also got additional info that UTG folded, so you don't need to raise in order to prevent him from drawing cheaply. You see how much information was missing from your first post?

If you had a good read that most of his range are draws I am ok with a raise, you just need to make it bigger. If you don't have that good read, I'd factor that it is a 3way pot and give him more credit for a made hand than in HU spot, so I think that a call on flop is better.

As played.
After he minreraises you should call him IMO. Check turn behind. River will be a tough spot if no draw comes and he pushes. (closer to the fold, IMO)

Thanks for the informative response zmej. Should the flop raise be around 25 instead of 15? Also if he has a made hand why would you advocate a call? If he has a hand like A10,K10 etc. and is playing aggressively wouldn't a raise help inflate the pot in order to get it in on a good turn card?
