Just from tonight, everyone with 50+VP$IP and at least 35 hands. 6 winners/3 losers. Also notice that EVERYONE with PFR over 10% is a winner



Probably also didn't help that I flopped only 1 set in 26 tries tonight and only made 10BB with it.

Here's another beauty. 7x in the past month at NL50 I've flopped a pair + a flush draw. 5 out of those 7x AT LEAST 1 other player at the table had a set.

Complete lesson in humility yesterday. Up until then, I had been crushing the live games I've played in, only having 1 losing sesson. But last night I lost more than I have ever won in a single session, and very quickly too. I was down my entire 30BB buy-in after only about an hour without winning a hand. I won only 1 hand in the first 4 1/2 hours of play.

In addition, it was ASSHOLE and DIRTBAG night at the Taj too. Wish I would have known. Much like Obi-Wan described the Mos Eisley Cantina in Star Wars, I have never seen a more wretched hive of scum and villany.

At a somewhat passive table, I was routinely being raised on the turn and the river with TPTK or 2 pair hands. If the straight card hit, I was raised. If the backdoor flush card hit the river, I was raised. If the bottom card paired, I was raised. I saw several TT,99,KQ, AK hands early that turned into either overpair or TPTK hands on the flop and all lost.

I ended up tied to several big big pots when flopping middle pair+backdoor draws or GSSD's. And almost each time, I added a bigger draw on the turn, but missed, bleeding away my stack. I also flopped several big draws and missed all, but 1 which ended up being one of the smaller pots which didn't even go to showdown.

After the immediate ass kicking, I was up and down (ok actually down and even) for the next 6 1/2 hours until I lost 2 decent sized pots during the last orbit. Ugh, I am humbled and disgusted, but it was out of my control. It's not like I played wrong. My only real errors were of aggression.

Concerning the "Taj is rigged" comment, but not really. I found it strange that other players were commenting that they were frequently being dealt the same hands back to back because I was noticing it too, along with several back to back flops containing the same cards. However, they do alternate decks with the auto-shuffler so it had to be coincidence, right?

I check, original raiser checks, same jackass from last hand throws in his last $1, we both call.
Jackass has [Jd] (a real hand this time), original raiser slams down KQo all pissed, then asks to see my cards once I muck
*This has been happening to me a whole LOT lately, much more than anyone else at my tables because they just can't conceive that I can play tight and pound the pot with big draws, or raise non-nut hands on the turn or later in order to knock out other players.

The highlight of the day was that I did hold off 5 players with AA, but couldn't even bet the river as there were 3 to the flush and 4 to the straight on the board. Nobody had anything except for one guy who never raised preflop with QQ.

Outside of finally running AA into KK for a stack yesterday, I just still can't figure out the cash games this month. I patiently wait getting run over by the 50% VP$IPers all day until I finally flop trips and get c/r'ed on the river. I must be fucking idiot. 6 out of 10 with VP$IP's over 40 are winners today. Everyone's a super-user. They continue to know exactly when to bet into me, exactly when to check-raise, exactly when to slowplay. There must be some kind of flashing light on my avatar that tells them when I'm full of shit and when I have a hand.

Consider this......5 of the 7x I preflop raised with AK or AQ over the past 2 days and missed, I was led into or raised on the flop. When I hit the flop, it's either check/fold or slowplay their better hand. And here's another shocker. There was a J9 on the flop just about every time. I'm losing $1.37 per hand with AK in September.

What to do? Stop raising preflop? Throw it away preflop? Here's another stat. If you take AA+KK out of my PFR's this month, I am only winning 52.8% of the time I PFR for -$0.19 per hand. Inexplicable. I'm just so sick of being pounded on everytime I'm the PFRer.

To add to the frustration, I'm 6 for my last 70 flopping sets and NOT 1 has earned me more than $6.85. Add that to 2 set in 15 hours of live play for smallish pots this week too.

Gonna be SOOOO happy when September is over.
