I finally got an epassporte account set up so I have a way to move funds. Since Neteller pulled the plug I have had no way to make a deposit. I took my entire deposit of $475 and headed for Cake. If I'm not a +5 ptbb/100 winner at the $50's on Cake I will need to quit playing poker. The players are absolutely terrible and it reminds me of the good old days.

Twenty hands into Cake and I run KK into AA AIPF and a few hands later I flopped top set and lose to RR flush for another stack. I start thinking holy balls I only started with 9.75 buy-ins and two are already . My second session went much better and I'm up $99.07 + RB

My wife just reminded me that today is my 1 year anniversary for quitting smoking. I'm not happy about the weight I've gained but it beats smoking .

This has been a good week for poker. I have put in about 6k hands on Cake at the $50's. Most of my play has been 6-8 full ring tables. I'm up a little north of $400 including bonus and RB. It is simply amazing how bad most of the players on Cake are.

I still have around $1.1k on FTP that will get put to better use on other sites...Stars...Cake or maybe AP.

My BR is allowing me to move up to the $100's and I will do that in another 4k hands so wish me luck.

I love playing at Cake

I made the decision last night to move up and play the $100's on cake. I started with 4 tables and didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable so my next session I will add a few more and see how it goes. The players seem to be about the same at the new level so I shouldn't need to adjust to much. Up to this point I had been running 6-8 FR tables and put in around 8600 hands at the $50's. MY initial deposit of $475 in now $1128.84 including RB($73.65) and bonus($220.00) making my net winnings $360.19.

Unless something better comes along Cake will be my main site for the rest of year. I hope they are never PT compatible.

We made an offer on a house this morning so we are patiently waiting for a response. The offer is 20k less than the asking price which is closer to what the real market is. The house is about 1/2 the price of the other homes we had been looking at so we could afford it even if something drastic happened to one of us. If we get it we are going to add on about 12x24 which will make the kitchen more user friendly and give us a master bedroom with a full bathroom. The garage is heated and has a beer fridge

FTP is rigged........................................
I'm getting a little frustrated with FTP for not processing my withdrawal request in a timely manner. I put in the request on the morning of the 14th and as of now it has not been done.
I really would like to deposit at Stars for the $125 bonus so if FTP doesn't get moving I will need to pull from Cake instead. Has any one else had trouble at FTP lately?

It has been a good month for poker, all told I'm up $850 including RB and bonus at the $50's in about 11.5K hands and down around $200 in 1k hands at the $100's. I'm feeling pretty good about my game which is a nice change. I have made the decision to play the $50's at least until my bonus is complete at Cake. Part of the reason for this is psychological.


I didn't play today because it is getting late and I've had a really long day at work.

I'm on pace for +20k hands and the winning continues. MY initial deposit of $475 is now $1540.71 including RB($130.67) and bonus($440) making my net winnings $495.04 in about 14.5k hands. It is to bad that I lost a couple of buy-ins at the $100's Oh well, no real harm done.

I made my deposit at Stars for the $125 bonus so I'll be heading there as soon as my bonus on Cake is done. I'm having a few mixed thoughts about leaving Cake for a few days but I'll consider it a change of scenery. At $1/$2 LHE playing 8 FR tables it will take me around 6 hours to clear the $125 bonus. After this I'm heading back to Cake and jumping in at the $100's again.
