OK, so I have a pretty extensive library of poker books, and have also read The Art of War; but I have heard some pros suggest that doing some reading on Game Theory is something a serious player should also do.

Has anyone read any good books on Game Theory that they can recommend? Looking at Amazon, there are several to choose from, but I don't know any of the authors. Also, they seem to range from "non-technical introductions" to advanced tomes... are the intro-type books a must before moving on to a more advanced book?

Any thoughts appreciated!

I'm not sure what books to get, but i had some game theory in a sociology class. I would start with an intro. type book because game theory can get quite involved and without a good foundation you could find yourself a little lost.

This is the best introductory article I've seen.

It doesn't cover poker, but illustrates some classic game theory concepts and introduces you to the terminology.
