I went out and bought Blink yesterday... I remember black_knight6 also writing something about the book and I got interested.

i am well familiar with the concept... I actually knew it since I was a kid, so I really wonder what this book has to offer me..

#1) If I flat call preflop..I get all in on any flop. This one is perfect as a CRAI looks like a draw. Most people wont fold if they have any piece of the flop.

#2) I like

#3) I would raise preflop, but not much wrong with your line

#4) I dont care for your flop all in vs 2 people. Not horrible though.

#5) Standard

#6) Dont like a flat call preflop with 99. Too many flops are ugly.

Why are you playing full ring?

Er right - these are all 6 max Ice - I don't get the FR reference.

The turn play on 1 is bad, I was sure he would bet again with so much in the pot, but he did have to hit a 2 outer to beat me. Otherwise the rest are just standard.

The 99 call in position I will make against players who overplay Ax but I would more usually shove it though.

Other than that these are fine for shortstack play...

I've just played a bit in the morning (am off work) - I found you need to adjust to the more weak-tight environment, but it's actually easier to grind it out as they put you to far fewer harder decisions than LAG's. Am still at the $200's.

Wiped out my bad start to the month and am now +$130 or so (including RB). Poker EV tells me I have been running at 1.6PTBB/100 less than expected so far this month, so to be back in the black is doing quite well.

I am also currently sitting in the +$800 slot for my RB affiliate's rake race but I've no idea whether I will sustain that til the month end.
That said, if I move up the $400 NL tables for good then something like a $1000 extra bonus (on top of RB) seems a strong possibility.

Sometimes PokerEV saves my sanity:

-$770 under expected so far this month...

2.7PTBB/100 under expected over 7k hands - about as bad as you can run short from my experience so far (worst was 3PTBB/100 under expected for about 8k I think)

RB is worth about $260 and I'm ranked for $800 or so in the monthly rake race, but it's still a real pain.
