Villain is 27 / 17 / 2.34 / 31% / 46% over 850 hands

I have a history with him so to speak.. I had QQ, he had KK, I had AQ he had AK and I sucked out when we were AI PF, I took 2 stacks from him when I setted him and he took 2 from me when he setted me.. etc. .. i am usually the one doing the 3betting but he also 3bets me frequently and isn't giving up easily.. We tangled a lot and the result so far is that I am losing $20 to him ($455 for me,$475 for him)..

I actually think this is the first player at the site I consider to be solid..

So, what do I do? Raise AI or fold?

There is a difference between a $12 and a $13 and a $14 3-bet.

You posted $12, then said "I really raised to $13, why is that small?" There's no way we can know $12 = $13, hence my comment.

You should raise a little over pot sized oop when you 3-bet, so $14>$13>$12.

Still, I am glad that this is the right line since he was poking me after the hand with comments like "I love it when they pay me off with only TPTK". Couple of hands later he did the exactly same thing when he had AK and I flopped a set of 8's, He justified his calling with me possibly tilting, no matter that it was reraised pot again (me being the one 3betting again).

This brings me to something else..

How often and do you 3bet pocket pairs like 55-99 or even 22-99 (I assume TT+ you 3bet so am not including it here) ? What do you think of 3betting those hands (especially in position) ?
