Out 32nd. 32/250. Not too bad. 25 paid though.
Was short stacked (M of 7-9) twice and had a shorter stack out draw me twice. Pretty much ran card dead. Got moved to a table in the second round with 80 and 60 bets to my immediate left when I only had 20. Tough to play into that.
Only made one big mistake, but it ended up having zero affect on the hand. I made an isolation move with my AJs from the SB when an MP player moved in with 3 bets. The BB had 32o and wasn't going to call even the all-in he said. So while it would have been better to flat call the push, it didn't make a difference, fucker still out drew me with KQo.
Other than that one error (and it didn't do any harm really), I played very well, kept everybody on their toes, having fun. A lot of players came up to me and said they were impressed with my style, that I played well, and enjoyed playing with me. What that means, not sure, but I think it's good.
I don't think anybody got a read on me for the most part. I did realize early yesterday that when I had a hand I would rest my chin on my left hand, and when I was bluffing I was resting it on my right. So I just started resting it on my left every time.
Sick hand though.
MP limps in for 3k. LP (real tool, been at 3 tables with him, decent player, but thinks he's all that and mondo FPS), min raises to 6. Blinds fold. MP calls. Flop is
. Mp makes about a 1/2 pot bet, I think about 6-7k , LP makes some comment, and then pushes in for like 22k. MP insta calls with
, LP has
{Ah]. No help comes. Sick hand.
I played well. I had fun. I realized I was better than like 80% of the field, I think I'm going to start searching out good structured MTT's in the general area and play more.
