Villain is 80.7 / 0 / 2.43 over 88 hands, raised or not he will play. Here are my notes on him copied straight out of the software:

FISH, WEAK = STRONG, STRONG = WEAK (!!!)
CHASES IN RAISED POTS
MASSIVE ALL-IN OVERBET = NUTS
value bets 2P on pat rivers
suckbet turned str8 1/5 pot || checked trips, min CR turn, checked river
overbet JJ3 / J42 board w/ K8 (TWICE) CRAZY BLUFF MODE SOMETIMES
BLOCKBETS RIVER w/ A high / 3rd p || minbet OESD, lead turn
doesn't 3-bet KK/AA

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) from (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Button ($62.75)
Hero ($77.60)
BB ($50)
UTG ($70.05)
MP ($48.50)
CO ($70.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Image, Image.
UTG calls $0.50, 3 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.50) Image, Image, Image (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks.

Turn: ($1.50) Image (3 players)
Hero bets $1.5, BB folds, UTG calls $1.50.

River: ($4.50) Image (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $8, Hero raises to $28, UTG raises to $68.05, Hero calls $40.05.

Final Pot: $140.60

Results in white below:
Hero has 4c Tc (flush, queen high).
UTG has 7c Ac (flush, ace high).
Outcome: UTG wins $140.60.

Is there any way I could have gotten away with this knowing he wayyy overvalues the strength of his hand?

I saw him overbet his 2 pair on straight & flush boards several times (he always shows down his cards). One time he thought he rivered 2 pair vs me in a QQJ56 pot when he had J6 and I called down his large bet with KJ.

CHASES IN RAISED POTS - Why didn't you bet the flop and let him chase? Or for the simple matter of building a pot and making draws pay???
MASSIVE ALL-IN OVERBET = NUTS - He probably would have made this bet at some point if you had played the hand better.

I hate your flop check, I really, really, really don't like your CR on the river. I guess you should also put down in your notes OVER PSB ON RIVER=STRONG HAND.

I like a flop bet, and turn bet, and a river bet...although if opponent called down, pushed river, I would no doubt call.

Flush over flush is pretty unlucky...but I still don't like the way the betting went on any street except the turn. Heck, fold preflop.

I guess my play looks really non-standard on the outside but I really put a lot of thought into this hand and I played this one mostly by my reads and notes... Here's my thought process:

PREFLOP:
Since this guy had been going crazy in every pot over the last 10 or so hands I decided to try and purposely involve myself in pots with this guy for cheap to try and win a big pot. In this case the BB was tight passive so I didn't fear being raised pre-flop.

FLOP:
I knew if I checked to him he would take a stab at it. That is why I checked the flop.

TURN:

I guess I was a bit thrown off when he didn't, so I value bet the turn because I was afraid he would check behind.

RIVER:

This guy had been floating bets all day long and taking big stabs at pots on the river when his opponent showed weakness. That's why I checked the river with every intention of raising him.

Here's an example of what I mean when he likes to float and take stabs at pots (same Villain is BB):

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) from (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

MP ($50)
Hero ($74.25)
SB ($51.80)
BB ($72.85)
UTG ($81.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Image, Image.
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.5, 1 fold, BB calls $1.

Flop: ($3.25) Image, Image, Image (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.5, BB calls $1.50.

Turn: ($6.25) Image (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($6.25) Image (2 players)
BB bets $9, Hero calls $9.

Final Pot: $24.25

Results in white below:
BB has 9c Jd (high card, king).
Hero has 7h 5c (one pair, fives).
Outcome: Hero wins $24.25.

That above hand is a mess. Pfreflop I don't even even want to discuss, I understand wanting to be in a pot with a gu becase hes bad but ALEAST have sime hand strength. Sice this guys likes to float flops you bet less than have...great idea number two. Then u pick up a 5 on the turn and check it. This is a hand played very badly. You are lucky he had nada here. Even against this guy you are gonna lose this alot. I hope you are not postig this to justify your play in tha [4c][Tc] hand.
2008 Goals:

1. Make $40K by year end.
2. Play at least 100hrs a month.
3. Read 5-10 new Poker Books w/ notes.
4. Become regular at $2/$4 FR
5. Try some $5/$10 FR
6. Work on Game non-stop.

Just fold preflop.

Srsly, just fold preflop.

How often will you win big pots on a flushed board to make this worthwhile?

Really, just fold preflop.

Get involved with a decent hand (like AT is a decent hand against this guy) and just fold preflop. There are MILLIONS of donks out there. Don't get over excited and get involved with absolute trash like this, oop.

Did I mention, fold preflop?

Yeah, it's a cooler, it happens but it doesn't happen nearly as often if you....

Well, you get the picture.
