Good point Sem, and you are correct the frequency that it's happening at is really annoying. Usually it dosen't bother me when I know I get my money in good and lose because generally I'll get it back fairly quick. The thing that sucks is when you're getting great opportunites to get it back and continue to lose. I'm still, for the most part keeping a level head when I play it's just waiting for the variance to even out that sucks.

What I don't want to happen is have my style of play change because of this run. Since I've been playing NL (with the exception of the last 2 weeks or so). I've been doing farily well I think. However after a while of losing it can start to make you wonder if it was just running hot. What I don't want to do is start playing more passively, it almost can seem like my aggression is now starting to cost me money at times.

Alright, last nights session was pretty interesting. I had 1 table where Spank_her_Pair sat down at with me (although for a little while I didn't know it was him ) Later on I had Semiliion and stckdude at my tables too.

I've bsically realized there's a lot I need to learn about NL. Sem basically made in like an hour or so what I've lost so far this month and then some . Spank IIRC was up decent as well. They basically ran over the tables, now I've thought I had times when I ran over tables. But it probably had more to do with me catching a good run of cards at the time and playing them aggressive. But the frequency that Spak and Sem were doing it, and winning I've rarely seen at my tables. How it's done I have no idea.... Hopefully at some point in the future something clicks for me and I'll be able to sit down at a $20 table and wind up winning like 5+ stacks on all of them like it's nothing. There is obviously something seriously missing in my post flop game, I have no idea how they were getting people off hands, rarely going to the SD, etc.

I don't think you should run the table.. just run over it...

Good point Alex, actually Sem already mentioned he was running sick hot, and getting a bit lucky too. Haven't had an opportunity to ask Spank but I will. I do know he was raising any 2 and playing real aggressive post flop.
