I joined the action on Cake poker.
Hopefully I got myself the 33% rakeback deal about which I will have to wait for confirmation from the affiliate which people assure me is legit and I have no reason to believe otherwise. It's interesting how anxious I get when there's a bonus or rakeback to be defined or some code needs to be entered for it...i am always waiting and 100000 things go through my mind. I guess it's because i don't feel like creating another account or something and then transfering the money left and right again.
So, I am on Cake now also... I played around 1,5k hands of 3-4 tabling NL50 and breaking even, or even losing a bit since I opened up 1 table of NL100 and got some half-stacks all in pretty fast. So, I have noticed a couple of regulars already and have started making notes on players. One thing I have noticed is that the gameplay is completely different then on Pacific and for now, I think Pacific is somewhat softer. I didn't get into 1 all in situation on Cake yet whereas on pacific I would have been in at least 2 in same number of hands. Also, the only two buttons I am using on Cake are "Bet Pot" and "Bet 1/2 Pot" and I feel strange doing that for now. So, I am actually down some money on play but got $30 bonus so far and some rakeback should be in there also.
I decided that I will from now on start the day with 2-3 hours of 4tabling Cake and then later switching to 4tables of my regular NL100 on Pacific. i am interested in how this will work out.
Also, how long does it take to clear that $500 bonus on Cake if I play NL50? I am bad at calculating these things.
pacific. $3300
cake: $1000
