Now this is definately a severe case of FPS, and might belong in the LC section. But I still think it is an interesting hand.
I open to 35 in the CO with [Jd], starting the hand with 1200
Button 3 bets to 122. He starts the hand with 907. He is very aggro and reasonably good, has 3 bet me a few times before, and I folded. Stats of 30/22
Now the BB pushes for 505 total. BB is a total donk. Stats of 65/20 or something like that.
Back to me.
The BB donk can do this with a wide range. AT+ and any PP, so I am sure I am ahead of his range.
I am more scared of the button. But he has 3 bet me before, and I am sure he could do that with AJ+ and TT+
Now the easy way here would be to fold, I only invested 35.
If I push, I think I will make it look like I really want the button out. I think he would put me on TT-QQ AQ-AK.
Here comes the bluff call. That will make my hand look extremely strong, it will very much look like AA or KK.
If Button has AA or KK he will push and I will loose all of my stack. But I might get him to fold AQ and AK, and even QQ wich I would be happy about.
So how much of a FPS syndrome is a bluff call preflop?
