Well, I can see I've been a bit slack in updating this thing...

End of the weekend, first monthly bonus cleared +$263

Been running at 5.5ptbb/100 @ 100NL, but ran bad at 200NL which takes the shine off it somewhat.

I'll play another week, then (hopefully) get another bonus that'll take me through to end of the month. BetFred

Still deliberating over which camera to get.

but I'm less than happy about the small sensor and resulting noise, so if I can keep not losing (LOL @ choosing my words carefully) at poker I should be able to get the final choice past the home Finance Director, aka She Who Must Be Obeyed (ha ha, she wishes), in exchange for some interior decorating etc here.. the finalchoice being one of these two:





10MP, 4/3 format, Leica 28mm-100mm zoom (35mm equiv)

or



Nikon D40x with a very tricky choice of lenses (doesn't this look a bit girly?)


I've owned a Contax (Zeiss) 35mm SLR and a 1954 Rolleiflex TLR (beautifully sharp, silent to use), and I'd really love to own a good digital camera with a Leica lens for making decent sized prints... but Christ it's expensive.
