Villian is 31/12 over 76 hands, lowish river aggression (like 1.5)

I've posted this hand up to shame myself into not doing this again. I'm happy with the PF play. I 4 bet to negate positional disadvantage and take it down there and then, I planned to fold to a push, which is why my 4 bet was so small. Anyone disagree with this?

After that, it's disgusting how I played it, so please, feel free to throw abuse my way, I deserve it.

On the bright side, I stacked someone on another table when my flopped set ran into a BB straight, we get it in, river pairs the board.

I could of played this several ways, and several ways that are better than this.

You should be donewith the hand after he called the flop. I mean you rep a BIG HAND when you 4-BET and then an Ace flop. When he calls your CB he has to atleast have and Ace or be able to beat an Ace.

I don't know about the 4-BET PF. Then again I play FR. But I would save 4-BET for QQ-AA or AK. Thoughts?

With your line, which isn't bad against the very aggressive.... the hand should probably end at the turn?

Maybe even a $20 continuation bet on the flop solves the same problem for less money?

I wouldn't 4-bet JJ unless villain was really aggro preflop. If so, I wouldn't be folding it to a push.

I think the flop is a c/f. Turn is burning money.
