Here is my all time favorite advice on cold decked, running bad type situations. Go to the bottom limits allowed and when you triple up, move up. Keep doing this for a day as "fun". When you go from $10NL to $400 it is fun.

Let's see... Been a mostly enjoyable weekend. Saturday Imanaged to get some time to do some bow hunting. I was fortunate enough to connect and get that first one of the season under my belt.

Today I had to go into NYC as a favor for my brother-in-law. I HATE going into NYC. It basically turned into an all day affair just due mostly to traffic. This mostly consisted of the shitty part of the weekend..... Well that and I fell off the wagon and decided to play a tournament again. 3r on Stars I basically squeaked into the money which sucked because I blew more in rebuys that I actually won. So I cashed but still lost money, meh.

However the weekend did end on a positve, I also played some ring games and wound up finishing up a little over 1.5 buy ins again. Which is perfectly fine with me. Now I'm not sure if that was a bit much... I asked Stickdude about it and he seemed to like $20 on the flop. For whatever reason though when I see a possible 4 flush on the board I tend to worry about the FD.

So overall besides falling off the wagon and playing a tournament again, and going into NYC it was a rather enjoyable weekend.

Fairly meh session tonight, wound up finsihing up a less than .5 buy in. But I guess any session where you're up $ is good so I won't complain. Played a pretty decent size pot against a guy who limp re-raised me when I raised QQ OTB. Flop came out 776 with 2 clubs, he open shoves and I call, he tables JJ and I took about 30 off him. Unfortunately I called off some $ here and there in small chunks it probably hurt my gains a little. I also posted up an AK hand in the NL section I played which I took a rather passive line on.

Overall it was a decent session, made a few bad/loose calls here and there and honestly wasn't playing as well as I should have so I made it a fairly short session. I also worked in another table and played 3 tables instead of the 2. So far so good, I was up to 4 tabling the 20's and 10's but with the inability to resize tables and whatnot on Cake I tend to find 3 to me faily comfortable so I might start 3 tabling a bit more.

I had a KQ hand I'm not reall happy about the way I played it, basically I raised coming in and got called by the button. K high flop and I make a CBet and get called by the button. I check called the turn and river and he had AK. he did a fairly good job of milking me and I called off about 1/2 stack there. Something just didn't seem right to me on the turn and for whatever reason with that same feeling on the river I decided to go ahead and still pay off, BAH. Other than that I think I played some fairly decent poker, I think I've gotten more control LHE tendencies that originally carried over to me learing NL, which can be a little costly at times.

Anyway pretty bleh night dropped a littel over a stack which mostly was attributed to me calling it off in a bad way. Unfortunately a lot of chances I had to make a decent dent in it failed miserably as the poker gods took turns pissing on omy head.
