I've analysed my hands on Tracker, and notice I am losing with hands like AKo, AQ, AJ and AT whilst on the Button. In particular AK(s and o) are poor rates of return. Even with a mixture of limping after other raises or first to raise there seems little difference.

I see other players going ALL in after flop with AK and losing a lot, so wonder if AK is overrated if the flop is missed.

I certainly wouldn't advocate going all-in on the flop if you missed with AK. (although I did it today, but it was in a 4-bet pot)

Personally I make boatloads with AJ-AK on the button. You should be raising first in 100% of the time. If you are not first in, then raise or reraise most of the time, especially against loose opponents and especially against CO raises (be careful if raiser is UTG). AJ can be folded sometimes if a tight player has raised. Flat call occassionally to mix it up.

Maybe post some hands that we can help with, or post more detailed stats. Here are mine in my last 44000 hands (9400 hands where I was button):

I'm sure better players have even better stats than that, but that should give you an idea of what type of results you should be getting if you are a winning player. However it does look like my BB/hand stats are above expectation, likely due to variance...or maybe I'm just that good?

No- only 6000 hands so far...and not many OTB. But there is a trend I want to nip.
I wonder if it's the amount of the raise.. recommend 3 or 4 * BB ?

Small sample FWIW, but even still, losing with them is probably because of how they are played postflop, not because you missed an extra BB in the preflop raise, not that the two aren't related, so yea, post hands
