You're hopefully not folding a set just like that... Even if he has a flopped straight or a better set, but you can't really concern yourself with that I think..

An overbet on a board like this is often a draw. I think you are ahead more often than you are behind here call. If he flopped a straight pairDboard.

Other than having the nuts, this is one of the easiest calls ever.

Snap call, then immediately click the reload button. If we're completely wrong and worst case scenario it's set over set. Against (giving him the current nuts and an OESFD) were about 70/30. Aside from seeing 2 7's out there we really can't ask for much more for our hand.

It's just because it's 4 way and I have bottom set on a straight-possible board (where all 3 opponents can easily hold T8, 99, and JJ)...so if there were ever a spot to fold a set, this 'could' be one of them.

So, obv, BB had [8d], and btn (lol) had [7c], a club hit the turn, and I didn't fill up...

PokerStove has me (against their actual hands) as 35.5% EV, so I actually did the right thing by calling. Also, I think that BB DOES have a combo hand here often enough (or an even worse hand) for this to be a call.
