I am OOP and I am in a raise on fold situatiuon I think. LP deffinatley has a PP but has he hit a set or not. The sortie could have anything really but aginst 2 player sthat called him I "may" be ahead.

why did'nt you lead the flop?? put the shortie all in then see what the big stack does. You put urself in a tough spot OOP by checking here. As played I think i just call and try to keep the pot as small as possible and see what he does on the turn.

I don't think I agree with your read on LP. I think he has a much weaker hand than you give him credit for.

Preflop--He flat calls a raise and a reraise. So he's probably got a drawish hand and perhaps a medium pp. AA/KK is probably reraising there no?

Flop--SB leads and he flat calls even though there is a flush draw. Okay, now I feel much better that he doesn' have a big pair and is probably on a big draw.

I love where you are in this hand because shorties suck and the other player's range is very wide here, because he probably knows that shorties suck too. I CR to $70 even though I expect him to fold most of the time.

The problem is what to do if he calls or shoves over your CR.

You really do have to 4-bet this preflop. I might consider reraising to ... um ... $19 I guess is the right number -- that amount lets the shorty push his $30 and then you can repush if the button calls the $30. I'd much rather get the shorty all-in preflop with free sweetener from the other guy than have to play out of position without knowing where you are in a pot where you didn't get enough $$$ in preflop to be able to stack off with your overpair.

Make it like $35 preflop (their ranges are wide and there is a lot of dead money in the pot.) Thats really all that matters here because you shouldn't be in this situation.
