Bowling is -EV

I'm still playing well and running hot. I've had 16 sessions on the month so far and I've won 14 of them. I hope this keeps up for another 2 or 3 months, then I'll be set to make a run at the higher limits with little to no risk of ruin.

I've started playing live again a little bit with some good success. I'm getting very good value bets in. It helps that my hands are holding.

Today at the Orleans i had a hand with Scott (Spank-her-Pair.) The game was 2-5NL with a $300 buyin. I made it $20 to go with AA from under the gun. He calls as does two others.

I check in first position, hoping to check/raise allin with these less than 100BB stacks. Scott bets $60 and the others fold. I sigh. I want to lay it down, but Scott's range with drawy hands and the like is pretty wide, so I stick with the plan and push. He thinks forever....we chat a little bit.... and he folds what he says is TT for middle set for about $200 more.

That's how my month is going.

Why would you ever admit to folding a set? If anyone actually believes you, you are going to get run over all day long. Its like saying you laid down KK preflop.
