SB minibets, BB calls and UTG now miniraises. Mkay. Well I don't want to give a free card with a flush draw out so I raise to $8. Only UTG calls, he started with $58.

Turn is the

Not a very good card for me. When UTG called I figured him for either a 9 (55 is possible I guess), or a flush draw. So I check behind when he checks to me.

River is the

He bets $1 into the $22 pot.


How do you play the turn and river? (I think preflop and flop are pretty much standard). What range do you put him on?

I like your play and just call the river.

I think he has a 9 and won't fold to a river raise.

Well as most of you I figured his most likely hand was either a 9 or a baby flush. A miniraise on the flop either with a monster (trips!) or a draw looking for a free card. I'm sure he won't fold a better hand to a raise, and I don't think he's calling with a worse so even though it felt weird to just call a 1/20 bet on the river, that's what I did.
