Live 200NL game.

Me and Villains stacks are about $400 each.

I am OTB with [As][Qd]

Gets checked around to me and I open for $25.

1 caller, good player prob LAG in SB.

FLOP ($52)

[Qh][8d][9s]

He checks, I bet $25, he instacalls.

TURN ($102)

[7d]

He checks. Ok here I am really smelling a trap so I check behind.

RIVER ($102)

[2h]

He bets $45.

HERO?

#2

[Th][8h] OTB.

Straddled for $5. Checked around to me and I complete. 4 players in.

FLOP ($20)

[Td][8d][2h]

Checked to me, I bet $20, SB calls, everyone else folds. Our stacks are about even at $200.

TURN ($60)

[Ad]

He checks. Ok, so you hit your flush. I check too.

RIVER ($60)

[Tc]

He bets into me for $45. I put him all in and he snap calls, showing a baby flush. I rake a huge pot. :)

#3
Tough laydown.

I am OTB with [3s][4s]. Dont ask me why but I call the straddle to see the flop. I have been seeing nothing but shit lately (like 200 hands straight, live thats about 6 hours) 4 players in.

FLOP ($20)

[4d][Qc][6c]

SB bets $10 (he CBs every single bet and my read is he has nothing at all)

BB calls, 2 folds, I get frisky and raise to $40 to see where they are Like I though SB folds but BB calls. (GULP)

TURN ($110)

[3h]

BB open pushes for about $175. I have $350 behind.

I am thinking to myself he is an online player and I have seen this play 1 000 000 times online, and 90% of the time they have hit their draw here. I have a strong hand (now... ) so what the hell does he have???

Like seriously.

I put him on a club draw but I didnt rule out 57. Other than that I have absolutely no idea what he could be pushing here. If he thinks I am on a draw then that 3 should have scared him. Maybe he puts me on clubs. What do you guys think?

I folded.

He later told me e had 64 but there is no fking way he had 64 and slowplayed it. If he did, I think he is a moron.

#4

Oh ya

[Qs][Qc] in CO.

I raise to $35, OTB good player with about $800 instacalls.

FLOP ($73)

[Ah][Jd][7c]

I check, he bets $50 I instamuck face up and he shows me a Queen and says I had one of your outs. I said, HF whatd you have QJ? Nice bet! He says no, AQ.

Bet the flop for read?

hand 1: I don't understand why you're playing this hand like this. is a $25 opening raise standard in this 1/2 game? ok, so even after you've done this, you only bet 1/2 the pot. There's an obvious straight draw out there, so bet more and protect your vulnerable hand. As played you have no way to decipher the strength of his hand, and he could be betting into you with an incredibly wide range. I'd expect to see mid pair more often than anything else here. Snap call his river bet and expect to win a small pot almost every time. I still would have bet the turn though.

hand 2: standard

hand 3: I disagree with twelver here. You've got bottom two pair here against a guy who doesn't seem to be afraid of your aggression. Yes, he could have something like AQ/KQ, and you could have just outdrawn him, or he could have something like [Ac][3], but i think it's more likely he's got the best hand here. You've got $45 invested in the pot.

hand 4: like twelver said. continuation bet the flop and try to find out where you are. Checking lets him win the hand, he can bet any two cards he wants here thinking that the ace scares you. He's right, it does scare you, but if you take a stab at the pot you have a chance to win it. And folding this face up will give you an incredibly weak image, just asking people to try to run over you.

HAND 1 He flopped a straight

HAND 3 I stand by my fold

HAND 4 I should have bet the flop, but I read him for an ace so probably saved money. He probably actually had QJ though.
