I figure that I still have the option of folding if he shoves. True, sometimes he'll shove hands that I am ahead of like sets or monster draws, but I'm not in great shape against that range anyway, although he probably doesn't have as many outs as he thinks he does on the draw (likely less than 13 instead of 15) Is this that bad?
Obviously, this was a beautiful card for me and since he didn't shove, I knew I was ahead. He folded to my turn bet and asked if I had QJ.
If a club or a Q would have hit the turn, I probably would have gotten away from it on the turn. If the board paired, I probably woulda bet/paid him off because I would have expected him to shove with the set a lot of the time on the flop.
