I haven't been at the table for long, and nothing noteworthy so far.


UTG, a bad player, open minraises.
I'm next and raise to $80 with TT.
BB, a 24/18 that I have no history with, cold calls.
UTG folds.

Flop Q68 rainbow, pot ~$180.
BB checks, I check.

Turn 2 suited, pot ~$180.
BB checks, I bet $150, BB check-raises to $420, I go all-in.

Ugh.. i think i raise this PF to 10BB-12BB but its matter of personal preference. Now I must admit I'm kinda lost w the line that villain took. I would guess that he either has set(and has decided to slow play it since he figured you dont have anything..thus i assume his CC preflop was a small PP for setmine. Then again his CR could be a nice powermove(bluff/semibluff) since he probably puts you on a smaller PP and thus thinks that you would fold it to a CR. So its mostly WA/WB scenario(i could be wrong). But i think that by pushing here you only fold out hands that you beat and get called by those that have you beat, especially if you have no history behind.
So i really think you are either up against total air or a very strong hand.
So in conclusion, i kinda really hate the push, u might get JJ to fold. Again, my experience in RR pots is still very very limited, but from the feedback that i got to my own posts, i think that pushing here is bad.

I'm think you just need to bet the flop. You put yourself in a bad situation you didn't need to be in. If your hand were a little stronger, like a KQ, then I could see more value in the check on the flop.

As played the turn is meh, seems like a you need a very good read to make this play.

I usually CB a lot, but against a good tricky player I think a flop check is ok on this relatively drawless board. It doesn't look like it hit your range much so he might well get tricky with a flop checkraise here (I would sometimes). Turn bet is marginal (but I would probably bet it too), now I think you have to fold to his reraise, I dont like the shove at all.
