Another odd one - normally I bet this and he folds, but I felt like mixing it up with a check here as I think I CB too many flops and UTG+1 is overaggro as is the norm at iPoker, plus here I'm pretty much WA/WB.

True to form he bets the turn, overbetting to make it even more obvious he doesn't have a K. River culd've been nicer, but I'm calling whatever.

Hand 1, now obv I don't have his agg factor by street but he could have TT, 22, or QQ-AA here don't you think?

TT is highly unikely given I've got the case T. 22 is possible but not really within his UTG raising range. AA-QQ are most likely, but he'll fold these because he sees monsters under the bed at every opportunity (his WTSD is ~12%) so when I rep 86/76/65/TT/22, that's good enough for him.

I don't make a habit of trying to push people off overpairs but this guy's a special case. My image is tight preflop and generally having the goods at SD, and I think he's observant enough to know that.

Fair enough, like I said, all I had was 14/12. Nh sir.

Yikes. Got outdrawn with just about every big hand I had. Flopped sets and straights hitting flushes are so annoying.

Then as I'm about to give up for the night, I call a PFR with 86s, flop 2 pairs, raise his CB, and when he hits his worse 2nd pair on the turn it's retribution time:




Switched over to Cake for a morning's session against the clueless Friday night Yankdonks, only to find a bunch of deep stacked regs. Still, managed to finish +$350 which cancels out the Cake downswing from the start of the month.

I feel my game has really improved a lot since I moved up to 1/2. I'm making much more effective bluffs and getting more value. I guess I'm ust asking for an arse kicking now.
