Analysis:


This is either a monster or air, no? I mean could it be something like 99-JJ. Or is he just MR me because he knows I am just taking a stab without much and knows I will drop? Any thoughts?

Triple B, why is that you would bet the flop an dnot the turn if you played the hand. Is it that it looks like you are taking a stab at it if on the turn. On the flop it looks stronger?

Yes, if you check back the flop you aren't going to get credit for any pair. When the turn pairs the board you will therefore get no credit.

So its true that villain could easily be making a play here because he thinks you have nothing, but its going to be next to impossible to play this hand profitably on the river against anyone that will follow up his turn aggression on the river with any reasonable frequency.

Still, I would stab at this flop. It hits a lot of hands so you should get some credit by betting here, even though you are probably bluffing with the best hand a lot. Once you check the flop though, you have showdown value so I would try to check it down. Villain can easily be trying to check down another hand that has showdown value that you beat (like AK/AJ, 22/33)
