I have a little history with the villian. He is quite aggressive postflop with stats somewhere in the neighborhood of 28/12/4+ throughout this 100-200 hand session thus far. 30 minutes earlier, I flopped top pair in early position and check/called him HU the entire way for a $200+ pot cuz I knew he was aggressive and would bet if checked to and he checked the river behind on something like a 4K7510 board and mucked 22.
In this hand, I was unsure if he would really bet again strong the whole way without the 10, and I was unsure about just calling off a whole stack with an overpair.
I feel my biggest mistake was checking the turn, I should have just bet the 3/4+ pot myself and gotten more information. As played, what was the correct play on the river?
